Prefill and Exhaust valves model PV" are seat type check valves, allowing free flow from its port A to port B and leak-free closure in opposite direction. For reverse flow, these valves can be opened by applying pilot pressure to its port X.
The valves are designed for the purpose of pre-filling large cylinders during their rapid approach motions, which are actuated mean like a pair of kicker cylinders or jack up cylinders or by gravitational force.
These valves have very low cracking pressure and generous internal passage to help them to offer least possible pressure drop while pre-filling.
Due to low pressure drop, these valves also can handle much higher exhaust flow enabling rapid return of the cylinders.
For connectivity, it's A port is machined as per Port dimensions for Flanged connection ISO 6162.
The special cavity for the B port helps the user to mount these valves directly on the cylinders, thus further reducing the pressure drop in the line.
A hydraulic system having Prefill valve without decompression feature, must have an external arrangement of decompressing the oil in the cylinder, before the valve is opened.
Completely encapsulated mechanism for protection against dirt. Available as spring centred, spring offset or detented model. Internal or external drain available as an optional feature. Valve mounting interface conforms to International and National standards.
Throttle check valves model TCM 06 are meant for controlling flow in one direction in circuit by simple throttling of flow.
Reverse flow is free and is independent of throttle condition in opposite direction in same path. the valve is available with throttle check valve facility on either A port, B port or A and B ports.
These are non-pressure compensated flow control valves and therefore offer constant flow for a given setting, only if the pressure drop across the throttled passage is constant
The valve can be converted from meter-in condition to meter-out condition by simply rotating the body along its longitudinal axis by 180 degree, while being installed. Rotation of the throttling screw in clockwise direction, increase the pressure drop in the path.
For locking the setting, a check nut is provided For proction of the setting, a protective cap is provided
Throttle check valves model TCM 10 are meant for controlling flow in one direction in circuit by simple throttling of flow. Cover For 2 Manual Pressure Setting, Electrically Selectable
The Covers CVC 2RS are designed to hold Polyhydron make 2 port slip-in cartridge valves model CV*** in the cavities machined as per ISO 7368, and are meant to provide duel pressure Pilot operated Relief function, using combination of a Slip-in Cartridge having a poppet ratio of 1:1, and two Relief valves, selectable by means of energizing a solenoid valve mounted on it.
Please note that difference in the pressure setting between the 1st Relief valve and the 2nd Relief valve (as marked in the circuits below) must be minimum 10 bar; 2nd Relief valve being set at lesser pressure of the two.
By using a Double solenoid valve as shown in the circuit, an additional unloading function can also be achieved by the cover.
The Prefill Exhaust Valve (PV) is a hydraulic-pilot operated check valve with seat type construction. It allows free flow from port A to port B. Flow from port B to port A can be enabled by applying pilot pressure to it's port X.
The decompression feature enables the valve to open in two stages progressively, allowing smooth and rapid exhaust of the compressed oil. Opening and closing time of the valve can be influenced by providing Throttle-Check Valves in the X port line.
Flanged port A of the valve housing can be rotated around verti-cal axis through 360° to facilitate access to flange fixing bolts and flange orientation
The cartridge valves with model CV are used to control oil pressure flow rate or direction and are designed for insertion into cavities machined as per ISO 7368. These cartridges are available in two area ratios , four cracking pressures and seven poppet styles. The covers are available for different functions like directional control, pressure control, unloading, flow control etc.
The covers CVC X are designed to hold polyhydron make Cartridge valves model CV" in cavities machined as per ISO 7368, and to provide oil passage to their control port C via X port provided on the cover to control the opening and closing operation of the cartridge valve.
The passage has an orifice screwed into it, for influencing the rate of opening and closing of the poppet of the cartridge valve, there by reducing / eliminating shocks in the main circuit oil flow. The threaded port on the cover can also be used for diagnostic purpose or for parallel supply of oil to some other function. This is particularly useful for the onsite modifications to the circuit.
Description Seat type valves Allow free flow from port A to port B and offer leakage free closure in opposite direction. Available in four sizes of standard interfaces conforming to ISO 5781 IS 10187 DIN 24340 Each model available with options of four cracking pressures • 0 5 1 5 3 and 5 bar.
Double pilot operated check valves series 2C110T provide pressure holding facility on service ports Al and Bl.
The valve opens and allows free return flow, when the other working port is pressurized.
The valve is not suitable for holding pressure on rod end side of Double acting cylinders , where ratio ( Bore area : Annullus area ) is equal to or greater than 3.5.
Pilot operated Check valves model CL allow free flow in the direction from Port A to Port B and offer leakage free closure in opposite direction. Reverse flow can be achieved by applying pilot pressure to their Port X. These valves are meant for applications where the reverse flow (from Port B to Port A) encounters resistance downstream of the Port A. The intensity of pilot pressure required to keep the valve open during reverse flow depends upon the valve model, pressure at Port A and pressure existing at the Port B when the reverse flow starts. Pilot pressure can be calculated using formulae given below.
In most cases, smooth decompression and opening of the valve for flow from Port B to Port A can be effectively achieved by controlling pressure and flow to the Pilot Port X. However, in certain cases it is necessary to decompress the oil in the cylinder first before admitting the oil in the cylinder for the return stroke for smooth reversal.
Modular pilot operated check valves series amoek provide pressure holding facility on their service ports Al and Bl.
These valves are also available with pilot check facility on either A or B port. The valve opens and allows free return flow, when the other working port is pressurized.
The valve is not suitable for holding pressure on rod end side of Double acting cylinders, where area ratio ( Bore area : Annulus area ) is equal to or greater than 2.6.
The modular construction facilitates use of these valves in a vertical stack, eliminating need of piping.
Modular pilot operated check valves series CIM10tir provide pressure holding facility on their service ports Al and B1.
These valves are also available with pilot check facility on either A or B port. The valve opens and allows free return flow, when the other working port is pressurized.
The valve is not suitable for holding pressure on rod end side of Double acting cylinders, where area ratio ( Bore area : Annulus area ) is equal to or greater than 3.5.

The interface confirming to ISO-AC-05-4-A, IS 10187, DIN 24340.
Designed for operating single acting up-stroking cylinders, which are expected to hold pressure during their working cycle. The valve also ensure smooth decompression prior to return of the cylinder.
Large return oil passage in the valve helps to return of the cylinder rapidly.
Opertions of multiple independent single acting cylinders can be achived by using the valves connected in series. ( Please refer circuit on last page.)
The valves can be supplied with features for mounting Pressure Regulator valve and Pressure Switch to eliminate interconnecting pipes.
